IN MANY WAYS I FEEL I’VE COME FULL CIRCLE. I STARTED OUT IN PSYCHE BLUES ROCK WITH MY FIRST BAND (MOKO JUMBI), THEN SPENT SOME YEARS EXPLORING MORE ACOUSTIC & ELECTRO VIBES, COLOURS, TEXTURES, IMPROVISATIONS, DISCOVERING THE SOULFUL ROOTSY SIDE OF MYSELF THROUGH Z-STAR AND SLOWTRAINSOUL, ALWAYS TRAVELLING WITH BLUES AT THE CORE, AND THEN AT SOME POINT MAKING THAT SWEET SLOW RETURN TO THE INTENSITY FOR THE NEW Z-STAR ALBUM.
Zee has just finished producing a stunning jazz album called Fly Me To The Moon by Alison David Jazz Trio, and is now on the production home run for 16 Tons of Love, the forthcoming Z-STAR album which you can pre-order from PledgeMusic.
